The Commander’s Corner:
I hope all of you can join us up stairs at the Post on March the 9th for our Monthly Legion meeting at 7:30pm.
I want to ask all of you to join in the fun at our Social Quarters. The staff is doing an outstanding job making the club a place we can all enjoy a meal and refreshments at a low cost to you. Please take advantage of this hard work and enjoy. Please, all Legion members come to the meeting on the 9th! We need you to be able to conduct business.
Our Early Bird thank you meal will be on March 20th from 2pm to 5pm. Make sure you bring your dues card.
Don't forget we have the WEB site back up and running. Visit it at www.Legionpost72.org A special thanks to Steve McLeod for his work getting it up and running, Barbara Truitt for putting our News Letter together, and Paul, Donna, and John for their input.

House Chairman News:
We are still taking steps to try and make the post 72 Social Quarters a place you can come with your family and guests to enjoy a good Lunch or Dinner and some refreshments. If you have any ideas of how we can improve, please let us know.
We now have a Beretta 9mm Series 92 Hand Gun up at the Club for Raffle. Get your tickets at the club for only $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, the drawing will be on April 24th.
Just another reminder for you members that play the HOGs. I'm sorry to say that we need to hold to the rule that started on February 1st, that you will no longer be able to call into the club to see what the winning numbers are.
Check out the corner as you enter the Social Quarters to the right and take note of our POW/MIA chair and table in honor of POW and MIA. I want to give a big thank you to the ones that made contributions to cover part of the cost. We are thinking of doing some type of drawing to help cover the rest of the cost. Please stay tuned for more information as we get it.
Please note there will be a Bake Sale on April 2nd and 3rd. Anyone that wants to bring in any Bake Goods please contact Donna.

Work continues on the upcoming bike and car show. We've expanded the event to include a SWAP MEET. This is the perfect opportunity for lots of you to clean out those unwanted car or motorcycle parts and accessories, and bring them to the swap meet. A 10 x 10 space is only $5. Don't have enough stuff yourself? Get together with a friend or neighbor, share the space & cost, and turn your spare parts into cash! The date is June 12th (Rain date June 19th).
We'd like to thank everyone for their support at our Sunday breakfasts. Remember, ALR hosts the breakfast the 4th Sunday of each month! Come on out for some good food and a good time!
